Senior Pastor Paul Wolfe

Paul is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a BA in American Government. After several years of working on Capitol Hill in Washington, Paul attended Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He received his MDiv degree from Westminster in 2000. Later that same year he was called as New Hope's Associate Pastor. He served in that role for over 17 years until becoming New Hope's Senior Pastor on January 1, 2018. In 2017 Paul received his ThM degree, also from Westminster, with a thesis on seventeenth-century English theologian Anthony Burgess and his work on justification.

Paul is the author of two books: My God Is True: Lessons Learned Along Cancer's Dark Road (2009) and Setting Our Sights on Heaven: Why It's Hard and Why It's Worth It (2011). If you want to learn more, visit www.paulwolfepage.com.

Paul and his wife Christy have been married for over twenty years, and have three children.

Assistant Pastor Dave Coffin

Dave served New Hope as Senior Pastor for 27 years, and is now serving as Assistant Pastor for Biblical and Theological Instruction. Before becoming a pastor, Dave served a number of congregations as a Ruling Elder for over fourteen years. Dave has served the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in America in a variety of capacities, including currently as a member of the Standing Judicial Commission.

Dave is a graduate of St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania with a BA in Philosophy. He studied at L'Abri Fellowship under Francis Schaeffer and Os Guinness, at Ligonier Valley Study Center under R.C. Sproul, and at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary under John Gerstner. Dave received his PhD in Systematic Theology from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia in 2003. His PhD dissertation was entitled "Reflections on the Life and Thought of Robert Lewis Dabney With Particular Reference to His Views on Divine Sovereignty and Human Free Agency." Dave was the editor and publisher for John Gerstner's three-volume work, The Rational Biblical Theology of Jonathan Edwards.

Dave and his wife Jennie have been married for over forty years, and they have three children and eight grandchildren.
